Astrid Fidelia

Astrid Fidelia is a seasoned real estate professional who brings over 23 years of real estate experience to the table. From 2007 to 2009 she served as Suffolk County Director for the Long Island Board of Realtors and the New York State Association of Realtors. Additionally, Astrid served as Vice Chairperson of the 2007 Legislative Committee, Fair Housing, Education and Realtor Political Action committees.

Prior to real estate, Astrid was the Executive Director/Administrator of economic development for the Town of Islip Foreign Trade Zone Authority, responsible for managing town owned land and all related operational and financial functions. This program was designed to attract and encourage new business and industry. Astrid routinely collaborated with high-ranking public and private sector officials, where she assisted clients in site selections, ensuring her clients received all available benefits from county and state agencies.

She is a Rotarian who believes in “Service Above Self and empowering others to rise above adversity.” She is the 2020/2021 President of the Rotary Club of the Islips and Co-Founder of Stand Up to Poverty Inc., a nonprofit that provides health, wellness and illness prevention information to disadvantaged communities by way of free community health fairs and medical missions.

Astrid carries with her the values of hard work, integrity, and outstanding client service into everything she does. Given her inherent desire to serve, community passion and business acumen, real estate and the process of helping local families and/or business owners couldn’t be more of a natural fit and such a welcome addition to the Jones Hollow Realty Group team.

Astrid is married with four children and is an Islip resident for over 20 years. In her spare time, you can find Astrid worshiping and studying at the World Teaching Ministry of Jesus.

Volunteerism
Board member of the Islip Food for Hope, the Islip Arts Council, the Suffolk County African American Advisory Board and a member of WFWP USA – Women’s Federation for World Peace, World Teaching Ministry of Jesus and Rotary Club of Islip.

Recipient of the Town of Islip – Women’s History Award of Distinction, the Women’s Federation for World Peace USA – Her Story Award, the Universal Peace Federation - Ambassador for Peace Award, Suffolk County Human Rights Commission – Elizabeth Guanill Memorial Award for Volunteerism, the Haitian American Veterans Association Leadership Award and numerous NYS Senate, Assembly, Suffolk & Nassau County, and Towns proclamations and citations.
